The colour of the sticker is masked
somewhat by
the clear/opaque application tape on top of it.
It will look fine once the application tape
is removed in the final step.

1.
The clear/opaque application tape on top.
2. The cast vinyl decal / sticker "YOUR DECAL" in the middle.
There is no white or clear backing
or area around it like short term printed stickers.
3. The
bottom layer is the silicon based backing paper, the adhesive underside of the sticker rests on this.

Prior to application
be sure to entirely clean the area.
Slowly peel back the clear/opaque application tape at 180 degrees as shown above.
Disgard the silicon based backing paper.
Now using the application tape place "YOUR DECAL" where required.
Firm down the decal from centres outwards to ensure maximum adhesion.
Slowly peel away the clear/opaque application
tape on top, at 180 degrees.
When you remove the application tape only the sticker will remain.
WET APPLICATION METHOD
as per dry application + soapy water mix
Using
a slightly soapy mixture in a spray bottle, spray the decal and/or the surface where the decal is to be applied.
Lightly spray to form fine/medium beading.
This will assist in mounting the decal in position without sticking and
static grabing to the surface.
Also it is to remove any remaining air bubbles which will result in a smooth
glass finish.
We also supply squeegees in our store to assist your application and obtain a professional result.
Small Bubbles will disapear within a week or so depending on position and temperature.
Caution: Overbeading the
area where the decal is to be applied or overbeading the sticky side of decal
may result in longer periods before premask
can be removed.
Ensure moisture has been squeegeed away and decal has adhered properly to surface.
Take caution
when removing the pre-mask. Drying/moisture removal is variable to environmental conditions.
Sometimes up
to a few hours depending on air & surface temperature.
Heavily over-soaping the beading spray mix will be detremental
to adhesion.
Approx 4-6 Drops of washing up liquid / 500mls is recommended.
Surface preperation; - removal
of polishes,wax,silicon based agents and residual oily type substance
is always extremely important to
the lifetime and success of your job.
Please see material application specs on colour charts for application
temperatures in extreme temperature zones.
Colour charts also state chemical resistance and Uv Rating.
